Race Day is Sunday 25th May 2025.

The 2 km youth race starts at 12 pm with a runners’ briefing a few minutes before.

The 12 km adult race starts at 1 pm with a runners’ briefing a few minutes before.

Entry fees are £21 for the 12km Road Race, £7 for the 2km Youth Race.

Enter the race using our online facility. There is no entry on the day. Entry fees are non-refundable.

The race START is in Dunblane High Street, close to the Steven Croal Hairdressing shop.

The race FINISH is at the top end of Dunblane High Street, close to the Gold Post Box.

THE COURSE - exiting High Street, the route heads north along Perth Road through the village of Kinbuck. After crossing the River Allan at Cromlix Bridge (3 miles) it turns left and follows Auchenlay Road back towards Dunblane. After re-entering Dunblane, the route follows Doune Road, Springfield Terrace, Sunnyside and back into the High Street, finishing near the Gold Post Box.

The route is generally flat(ish), with some undulation and a short hill at around 4 miles. It is mostly on country roads. Bear in mind it is not a closed road race and some traffic will be encountered. Keep to the left and take extra care as you come back into Dunblane and pass Tesco. The route is heavily marshalled. If you do drop out, please let a marshal know – First Aid cover is available.

RACE NUMBERS will be available from the race registration desk at the Dunblane Centre (next to M&S) on the day of the race. Adult numbers can be collected between 10 am and 12.30 pm. The registration desk will close promptly at 12.30 pm. Please arrive at the race venue in time to collect your race number.

There is ample PARKING in Dunblane. You should be able to get parked within a few minutes’ walk of the race HQ at The Dunblane Centre.

TOILET and SHOWER facilities are available in the Dunblane Centre.

BAGGAGE - bags can be left at The Dunblane Centre at your own risk.

There will be a WATER STATION close to the half-way point.

SAFETY - The route will be well signposted and marshalled. There will be a pre-race briefing at 12.50 pm down near the start line on the High Street. Please remember that the roads are open to traffic, and you are responsible for your own safety for the duration of the event. Particular care should be taken as you re-enter Dunblane towards the end of the race, passing Tesco.

This is an open road event and, in line with our Scottish Athletics permit, headphones are not permitted unless of the bone conduction type.

TIMING - The race is chip timed, utilising UHF disposable tags that are integrated into your race number. Your race time will be available immediately on finishing, and you will be able to obtain a printout of your time, overall and category positions from the timing van immediately after finishing.

RESULTS will be posted on the race Facebook page, race website and Scottish Athletics website as soon as possible after the race, hopefully by late afternoon.

PRIZES - There will be cash prizes in each category.

The AGE CATEGORIES for both male and female runners:

Senior – 16 to 39 (under 16s should enter the Youth Race)

Veteran – 40 to 49

Super Vet – 50 to 59

Vintage – 60 +

Super Vintage 70+

Note - Age is age on race day

The race START is Millrow. Runners should muster in the Railway Station Plaza by 11.50am for the race briefing.

The race FINISH is at the top end of Dunblane High Street, close to the Gold Post Box.

Age is age on race day. MINIMUM age on race day is 9 years old. MAXIMUM age for the youth race is 15 years old on race day - anyone 16 or older can enter the 12km race.
